How these reviews check responsible-gambling tools
Every review here reads the operator's own responsible-gambling and self-exclusion pages first, then cross-checks them against public complaint boards - AskGamblers, Trustpilot, Reddit - for cases where a player says a limit, cool-off or self-exclusion request was not applied. Where a complaint like that exists and is documented, it is reported directly. Where I cannot verify a claim about how a tool behaves in practice, I say that too, instead of repeating the operator's own description as fact.
| Area | What I verify |
|---|---|
| Responsible-gambling tools | Deposit limits, cool-off, self-exclusion - advertised vs. what complaint records show |
| Licensing claims | Whether the licence a portal quotes matches what the operator states, flagged when sources disagree |
| Complaint patterns | Volume and category of public complaints (withdrawal, verification, RG) on independent boards |
| Review integrity | Whether a review platform itself has flagged fake or manipulated reviews for the brand |
